Last week of posting...

Hey there. It's time again to update my blog. It's a last week posting for me as a student. Mix feeling were spinning in my mind right now. People keep telling me, learn as much procedure as you can when you are still a student, do as much mistake that you can when you are a student. Interact with more patient as you can. Because after this, you might not be able to make any mistake at all. My personal opinion about this is kinda true though. Come to think about it, being a student somehow give you a privilege to make mistake. But make sure that you keep it to a minimal. So long as you are holding the tittle as a student, people can't blame you for the wrong doing that you had commit. I always practice this when I am still a student. Always ask a senior staff to observe you when you are doing a certain procedure. Being the most senior in college doesn't mean that you are qualified to execute all the task by yourself. By having a senior staff around, there are chances that he/she might correct you for your flaws. You know sometime student tend to not execute certain thing when attending clinical posting. Like those simple task. Happen to me sometime too. But I always make it a point to myself, as long as you are student, there are still chances for you to make mistake. Sometimes this simple things in clinical posting won't be able to be done correctly according to SOP. So by any means, this is the chances for you to make mistake and learn from it. My point is not to support you to making a mistake but a proverb does state once and i quote, we learn from mistake. So long as we have the urge to learn from the mistake that we have made, I think that we can make a full use of it thus far. Knowing that this is my last week for my clinical posting, I always reminded myself that this is the time for me to learn and not to waste any more time like what I had done before. Entering a workforce and playing with patient life is not something that you can take things easy. It's a big responsibility awaits for you and it's you bread and butter after all. Finally, I'm wishing all my classmate to have a great week in clinical posting. Being this is the last week, enjoy it while you still can because there will be no clinical posting after this. Salam
